Peter was not my friend as such, but being the person he was he had the discerning ability to make you feel that you are his friend and always have been. Our paths first crossed in the early 2000's when Peter was working with Care and Repair, and I was in Housing at Blackpool Council. We found ourselves work colleagues again when I joined BCH in 2014, then in late 2015 I was seconded to the Care & Repair Team, and Peter was there to help and advise. In addition to work issues we shared a love of good coffee, and great beers, and we were looking forward to exploring both at various locations in Poulton. Time has robbed us both of those experiences, just small things but they are what connect us with like minded souls.
